JDL Homes – a family-owned design/build firm based in Vancouver – approached Curve with various marketing needs, ranging from social media and ad management to website revisions and video production. Brothers and owners, Jeff and Doug Langford, wanted a modern corporate video that conveyed the high quality, “from our family to yours” approach that is unique to JDL.
Many members of our team have worked in the local news industry at media organizations like the CBC and CityTV. For this reason, Curve has established long-term relationships with Vancouver’s top videographers. For JDL’s corporate video, we organized shoots at job sites and conducted interviews with key staff members and homeowners/clients to convey the company’s main branding message of quality craftsmanship and customer service. While also filming for the corporate video, Curve came up with the idea of creating 1-2 minute “How To” videos that could be shared across social media to promote JDL. These videos – complete with stylish intro sequences – helped reinforce the fact that Jeff, Doug and JDL are experts when it comes to home designing, building and renovating in Vancouver.
