In 2014, the Recreation and Culture Department of the City of Campbell River came to us looking to revamp their marketing plan from scratch. Though Campbell River is host to numerous beautiful parks and natural scenery, participation in their facilities could use some improvement. Furthermore, a large chunk of the department’s time and marketing budget was spent on a seasonal guide.
The department contacted Curve to help them find a way to boost the number of visitors to their facilities, coordinate all their marketing efforts, and increase the productivity of their office.
Building on over hundreds of pages of extensive market research, and numerous face-to-face interviews, the Curve team created a detailed marketing analysis for the Recreation and Department. We highlighted the strengths, weaknesses, and redundancies of the organization, found potential methods of advertising, created a full timeline of recommendations, and much more.
The Recreation and Culture Department were incredibly satisfied with the report and currently in the process of implementing our recommendations.
